Fun in Kiev.

We haven’t posted for a while as we got very busy with work and household after our wonderful vacation in Kiev. But I still figured it is better to write now and never. 🙂
Our 10 day trip to Kiev was really nice, especially for our little Maya as my mom and dad really spoiled her rotten.

Making tiny steps towards independence

Maya gave mommy the best present for Women’s Day yesterday.
We heard that she was pulling herself up in the kindergarten but she never performed it for us.
So, yesterday was the day when Maya realized that she can stand on her own two feet without help from mommy or daddy.
She’s been doing it all evening yesterday.

Luckily I was able to film the happy moments:

She’s been also walking with assistance for quite some time now and I am sure will soon walk on her own.
We couldn’t be more proud of our baby doll. 🙂

Kindergarten update

Our Maya started her with new kindergarten experience two weeks ago. The first two weeks were tough for all of us. A lot of tears, bad feelings and sadness of leaving the baby with strangers.

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth

I guess our little sunshine will get her first teeth just in time for Christmas. 🙂
We were all waiting for this to happen a long time ago. As every time Maya was a bit fussy or had a runny nose or a little fever, we would all try to play a doctor and say, those must be the first teeth coming through the gums. Water Adventures continue…

This Saturday we entered the Babyworld of Therme Oberlaa, Vienna’s only Thermal Baths which were recently rated as especially child friendly.

There were only two pools (one inside and one outside) for babies and small children with lots water squirting toys and small slides.
